Chris Austin, M.D. is the Director of the National Institutes of Health National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. At Saint Francis, he's known affectionately as husband to Judy and father to Ashley, Genny, and Shelley, and as a lay assistant and lector.
What would Eutychus have you know about Chris? He possesses a terrific bass-baritone voice. If you wonder what hymns and service music can sound like sung on pitch, sit near Chris on a Sunday morning. You may never be Don Magnifico in Rossini's Cenerentola, but you'll sing better standing by a man who's been there and done that.
